was founded in 2015.
Originally as an
art project against Instagram
and its ‘hashtag’ culture.
Having to adapt to the fast
growing social media and
marketing platform,
Veiled_Eyes was born. The
concept was to show no
locations. At the time the
project began, the user was
unable to have more than one
account per registered
email. Over time, updates and
several iPhones later, I was
blocked and locked out of the
Veiled_Eyes account. After
many attempts to regain
access I simply gave up. In
collaboration with d-Tan
Studio in K-berg ,I
transformed the original
concept into a handmade book.
EXHIBITION:
4-6 OCT
Wühlischstr. 56,
10245 Berlin
Title of the Project: COLOR SCENARIO
Artists Involved:
Introduction: Meeting in Berlin, after working on a
Music collaboration project, We found a connection
through our similar ways of creative thinking.
(among other things) . Our blind collaboration is a
fusion of artistic visions, techniques, and
narratives, aiming to create a cohesive experience
for the audience. This project reflects our shared
passion for creativity and follow through on ideas
and showcases the unique way each artist brings the
concept to fruition.
Concept: Blind Collaboration where the central
concept is color. Each was given the guidelines of
4 20X20cm canvas’ to be completed every month
starting in Sept 2023. Each month was assigned a
color. The idea of each month being assigned a
color was conjured up by Maryna Russo and
presented to Zeb Ringer, where we hashed out the
final details together. Never to speak or show
each other what we’ve done til the unveiling
where both artists will put their works together to
make 12 80x80 paintings or artworks. We are
fascinated by the outcome of the guidelines that we
were both given and how it impacts our process
and perceptions. Through our combined efforts, we
seek to delve deeper into this subject, offering a
nuanced perspective that highlights both the
commonalities and differences in our approaches.
Process: Our process involved minimal to no
dialogue, experimentation, and mutual inspiration.
Each artist contributed their distinct style and
medium, mainly painting, ink drawings and mixed
media.. We engaged in no exchange of ideas
critiques, and revisions, ensuring that the final
work embodies the essence of our collaborative
goal: The unveiling.
Individual Contributions:
Maryna Russo: facilitator. Contributing 48 small
scale (20x20) mixed media paintings
Zeb Ringer: co-facilitator. Contributing 48
small scale (20x20).... paintings
Outcome: The outcome is a harmonious blend of our
individual strengths, resulting in a series of
works that are both visually compelling and
thought-provoking. Each piece in the series stands
on its own while contributing to the overall
narrative of the project.
Conclusion: Through this (blind) collaboration, we
have not only produced a body of work that we are
proud of, but we have also grown as artists,
learning from each other and pushing the boundaries
of our creativity. We hope that our audience will
engage with the work on many levels, and find their
own meanings within our collective expression.
Invitation: We invite you to explore our work, to
witness the dialogue between different artistic
languages, and to experience the unified vision
that emerges from our collaborative effort. Thank
you for being a part of this journey with us.

during the ‘Plandemic’ I came up
with a series of
pointless (stream of consciousness)
letters that I
sent out to all the English speaking
Embassies in Berlin. Each came with
a self addressed stamped
envelope instructing the receiver to
“PLEASE RETURN PAPER CLIP”
The ONLY returned letter was from
the Canadian Embassy.
